Programme Director 2

The Municipal Institute of Culture TORUŃ 2016 announce for the second time recruitment process for the Programme Director. The deadline for application is January 6th, 2010. The criteria of new recruitment process are a bit different and the job offer hopefully reach wider number of potential candidates.

At the first attempt, there was no suitable candidate identified due to incomplete application. The new director of TORUŃ 2016, Krystian Kubjaczyk, has decided to change some of the selection criteria to broaden the circle of potential competitors. Of course, the competition remains open to proposals not only from Poland but from other countries, as well.

Program Director will be the one to coordinate the artistic and social development programmes for the city until 2016. He or she will be a key figure for the European Capital of Culture project deciding on how the culture and the city will look like for many years to come. Among other things, the future Programme Director will be required to posses skills in the fields of managing multinational teams, general management and quick decision-making skills.

CVs submitted by candidates must demonstrate their experience in scope of developing cultural concepts and concrete examples of successes in carrying out interdisciplinary projects. Experience in running international projects will be an asset.
