“I don’t want to act like an artist, I am here as a manager” – said Roman Kołakowski, the Programme Director of Toruń 2016 during his recent meeting with artists in CoCA.

Culture among kids

March 8th saw the beginning of a new educational program by Toruń 2016. It is aimed toward young kindergarten kids. It’s goal is to create an easy connotation – Toruń plus culture equals European Capital of Culture.
Soon the program will cover elementary schools and high schools in Toruń.

Coordination of the artistic and social development programmes for the city until 2016 – this is the main responsibility of Toruń 2016 Programme Director. On march 9th, Programme Director Roman Kołakowski will present his vision.
