A new book containing beautiful photos of Toruń was published by Pejzaż Publishing House. “The Magical Toruń”, as this is the title, contains 352 pages and 500 photos by Marek Chełminiak.

Happy birthday Toruń!

Toruń is celebrating its 777-th birthday this year with a huge party on June 24th and around this date. Citizens of the city and tourists will have tons of attractions to choose from!

Everything starts on June 23rd with a kind of water-music-light spectacle on the Cosmopolis fountain. “Love Story” music will be used as a sound background.

June 24th, the actual Fete de Toruń, will see a massive birthday cake on the Old Town Market. After it gets dark Toruń’s own Star Alley will see two new inductees – Katarzyna Dowbor, a TV personality, and Adam Nowak of Raz Dwa Trzy band.

An open-air picnic will take place by the Vistula river on June 25th followed by sport competitions.

The Bydgoskie District Festival
