San Fermin in Toruń

Sanfermines fete is something that Toruń and Pamplona have in common. July 10th will see the beginning of Sanfermines in Toruń – our way of celebrating this Spanish festivity.

Everything starts on Saturday July 10th at noon. Everybody are invited to take part in Spanish music concert as well as the opening of Daniel Pach Pamplona photo exhibition.

There are tons of attractions just waiting for you to take part in them. Be sure to do it before Sanfermines end at July 16th.

Carreras to perform on Motoarena

This will be an amazing event – on July 31st, at Marian Rose Stadium (Motoarena), Jose Carreras will perform. One of the most famous tenors ever will grace city’s 777th Birthday!

This will be more than a concert, rather a spectacle worth attending and hard to forget.

José Carreras, one of the legendary "Three Tenors," was born Josep Carreras (Josep is his Catalan name, the equivalent of the Castilian Spanish José) in Barcelona in 1946. He began singing at a very early age; family lore holds that he serenaded passengers on a voyage home from Argentina when he was only five. He was inspired by the film biography The Great Caruso, starring Mario Lanza, and is said to have learned each and every aria contained within.

Piano master in the Artus Court

Piano concert by Wiesław Szlachta will be a part of the “Piano Masters” Workshop Series we have informed you about recently. The concert will take place on July 3rd in the Main Room of the Artus Court.

Szlachta will present the works by Chopin, Liszt and Szymanowski.
