Messenger in Bydgoszcz

A medieval messenger from Toruń – played by actor Jacek Pietruski – visited Bydgoszcz today. With a Teutonic Knight and a hoarse as his companions he invited Bydgoszcz city authorities, as well as artists and culture animators, for a meeting session that will take place on Thursday.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, April 22nd, at 5 P.M. in Hotel pod Orłem in Bydgoszcz. During the meeting, the Mayor of Toruń, along with Krystian Kubjaczyk and Roman Kołakowski of Toruń 2016 will present the concept of cooperation between Bydgoszcz and Toruń in the European Capital of Culture competition.

“Literary ride” – reloaded

Public transportation rises many things to our minds, but should we ask the passengers about their associations, the literature would not probably take one of the leading positions.

Municipal Institution of Culture Toruń 2016, the students of the School of Theatrical Education and Practice in Torun and the public transportation company of Toruń decided to change it. Tomorrow, on Tuesday, April 20th 2010 — literally and figuratively — another episode of “Literary Ride” qill take place. Lovers of beautiful words and beautiful speech are invited to MZK vehicles at the following times:

• Bus line 11 (to Czerniewice): from 15⁰⁰ to 17⁰⁰
• Bus line 27 (to Wrzosy): from 15⁰⁰ to 17⁰⁰
• Tram Line 1 (to Reja): from 15⁰⁰ to 17⁰⁰
